Special Event - Degree Show 2006

Actually, I really like design, but dunno why i'm choosing computer science. I think it is fate! Huhuhuhu. Anyway, syukur my life goes well till today. Ummmmm..... this event organized by B.Sc. Industrial Design student at UTM (of course!). Give them an A grade for organizing, C for promotion and a bright star for future event. Lets see it!
What Industrial Designers Do
An industrial designer is someone that takes the products we use in everyday life and makes them fit into our lives in the best way possible. They take a product or service from a manufacturer and further develop and improve the concept in an attempt to benefit the company and consumer. When a company hires an industrial designer they want him/her to make their product fit best with the consumer yet be profitable to them in regards to production and marketing costs.
Industrial designers have most likely had a hand in almost every kind of product you use including electronics, furniture, transportation and any working gadget around the house. They understand that if something is uncomfortable or awkward to use it will not be a success in the market. They can also be hired by a company to help develop and design a new slogan or business concept. The designer will analyze how it will fit in with the company's goals and the customer's expectation.

Faculty of Geoinformation Science Engineering
This faculty is breed from Faculty of Built Environment. Located at the heart of UTM Skudai Campus, this faculty is the best located faculty at UTM. The design same like the other old building at UTM, lot of decor, cover with full feel of Malay Archipelago stress. Umm.... Actually what is geoinfromation science?
Geoinformation Science
Geoinformation is a shorter name of Geographic Information. Geographic information is created by manipulating geographic (or spatial) data (geodata) in a computerized system. Systems can include computers and networks, standards and protocols for data use and exchange between users within a range of different applications. Typical applications are land registration, hydrology, cadastral, land evaluation, planning or environmental observation. Geodata comes in many different forms, such as maps or images taken from the air or from space, i.e., remote sensing data. Geodata may be stored in a database, which may possibly have special extensions for storing, handling, and manipulating spatial data. Geoinformation is the useful output, produced by analyzing data with a kind of computer program called a "geographic information system", or GIS. The environment in which a GIS operates (machines, people, networks) is called a "spatial information system", and is designed and created to respond to the strategic spatial information needs of people or organizations.

I'm back....
Huhuhuhu, 34 days without any update, from 8 April 2006 - 12 May 2006. Sorry to all who eager to visit my FP. No words can describe your loyalty, no heart can deny your empathy, only THANKS from my deep heart for you my lovely! What happens in 34 days? Let me tell you from the newest one.
1. An interview for Skim Latihan Akademik Bumiputera (SLAB) - Kolej Universiti Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan Malaysia (KUKTEM)
Two interviews has been held within 5 days at Kuantan, Pahang, and I passed!!!! Hola. My master and PhD will be support by KUKTEM. Within 3 months after my Master's graduation (October 2007), i will fly to University of Westminster, UK or Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, to continue my studies as PhD Student. So when comback to Malaysi on October 2009 i will got new name --> Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Azhar bin Ahmad. What a Mat Jenin day dream. 
2. An interview for Software Specialist at Cosmopoint
3 Interviews in 1 day - Theory, Practical, and Oral. Such a tired job. Held in Kuala Lumpur. And also i'm got the position. But my mom's want me to be a lecturer. Pass it. Another thing, I have met Mama Zain ( http://zainzubir.fotopages.com ), Buttet ( http://buttet.fotopages.com ) and IkanMasin ( http://ikanmasin.fotopages.com ). They're good guys especially Mama Zain. Hmmm... love Mama treat!
3. Master's Presentation with Second Supervisors from National University Singapore, Prof Limsoon Wong
Sadly, must do Major correction before August 2006. Don't want to tell anything about this. Feel bad!!!!
4. Program at KTDI (lot of it!!!!)
Anyway, after this, i'll try to update everyday. But... can I?.....

Faculty of Management and Human Resource Development
This faculty is located in Lingkaran Ilmu street (the main street for lot of faculties). Consist only two blocks, this is the smallest faculties at UTM. The street mainly cover by 'pokok ara' which can be a place for student to take a rest after long time, in class. For your info, this faculty has the most excelent facilities at UTM. From Language Lab, to lot of Intelligent Room. So, let see it!
